Advertising Terms
These terms apply to every ad booked through FitmentHub. They are accepted by ticking the box at checkout.
1. What you're buying
- Advertising on FitmentHub buys space in clearly labelled placements: homepage banner, category sponsor strip, sponsored result cards, listing page box, vehicle sponsor and the local business directory.
- All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. A tax invoice is emailed after payment.
- A booking is for the period shown at checkout. Local directory ads and monthly auto-renew bookings renew until cancelled.
2. Review and approval
- Every ad is reviewed before it goes live. We aim to review within one business day.
- We may reject an ad that breaks these rules. A rejected ad does not run and is refunded to the original payment method.
3. Ad rules
- No scams, fake giveaways, get-rich-quick offers or misleading claims.
- No adult content, weapons, tobacco, vaping, gambling or illegal products.
- No competing marketplaces, auction sites or affiliate offers unrelated to the advertised business.
- No malware, deceptive redirects, link shorteners or tracking pixels of your own.
- The destination link must be a working https:// page owned by the advertiser.
- Creative is limited to one image, a 40-character headline and 90 characters of text. HTML, JavaScript and scripts of any kind are not accepted.
- No ads for products or services that are illegal in Australia, or that discriminate unlawfully.
4. Refunds
- If an ad is rejected at review it is refunded in full automatically.
- Once an ad has been approved and has started running, the booking is not refundable for change of mind. You can pause an ad at any time.
- If we remove an ad after it started for breaching these terms, no refund is due.
- If we make a mistake or a placement cannot be delivered, contact support and we will make it right with a credit or refund.
5. What we control
- We decide where placements appear, how many advertisers share a slot and how often a sponsored card is inserted into results.
- We may pause any ad that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe harms the marketplace or its users.
- Ads are never shown inside checkout or messages.
6. Your reporting
- Impressions are counted once per visitor per day and known bots are excluded. Clicks are counted through our redirect, which adds utm_source=fitmenthub to your destination.
- Reporting is provided as a guide and is not an audience-measurement guarantee.
7. Your responsibilities
- You confirm you're authorised to advertise the business and that the creative is yours or licensed to you.
- You are responsible for the products and services you advertise.
- We handle your contact details in line with our Privacy Policy.
